What I liked
The complete comfort, support and consideration I received, before, during and after the birth.The environment was very peaceful, light and airy. The midwife care was always on hand. The facilities are brilliant. The food we were offered/given was really nice. I liked the fact that I didn't have to have my baby and get home, but had the opportunity to stay a few days/nights to get used to my new baby and benefit from the support of the midwives.

The Birthing Centre is a wonderful place for women. It offers the choice to birth naturally in a supportive, calm, peaceful environment in the care of a brilliant midwifery team. It really does provide a home from home experience and not the clinical atmosphere of a main hospital. You are given a lot of confidence and encouragement as a new parent.
The other brilliant thing about this centre is that you are supported by the midwives during pregnancy with ante natal appointments, in birth and beyond.
