What I liked
All of the staff who dealt with me were exceptionally friendly.
The Neurology team i was under couldn't be anymore caring and friendly.
What could be improved
I did feel that i could have been given a little more information of what to expect in the days after my surgery. Ie: pain i may expect that i hadn't experienced in the hospital.
I feel that the info sent with my appointment could have included the fact that if you are staying in hospital your visitors can pay £10 or a parking permit which lasts a week. We didn't know about this until my husband mislaid his parking ticket and parking security told him about it.
Anything else?
I had my surgery on Tuesday 30th August and i was 1st on the list. I met with the surgeon who talked me through my procedure, they were very kind and very clear with what they were telling me. I met with the Anethetist who again was very kind and friendly and totally understanding when i started to blub!!!
My consultant came to see me as they were passing which i thought was very lovely as they didn't have to. The whole of this team were exceptionally friendly, caring and kind and i felt very lucky to have them care for me.
After surgery my consultant and surgeon came to visit me (at different times) to see how i was. This was not on a ward round just because they were passing. I was very touched.
"Excellent care, Excellent Neurology team,..."
