"Polite, helpful, and informative"

About: Borders General Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as the patient),

Attended out patients with suspected malignant lump. To my, pleasant, surprise I was given a blood test, CAT scan then biopsy all at the same appointment. As I am housebound and need "2 man" ambulance transport this saved at least a second exhausting outing. As I had to wait around from 10am  appointment a very thoughtful nurse arranged a sandwich and coffee for me - very much appreciated. Mr Carr (ENT), his nurse and all other staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and informative on a difficult day for me. Thank you very much.

Please ensure the staff do receive the feedback. Thanks. We expect to be involved with the BGH fairly often, unfortunately, but the experience with ENT makes the prospect less stressful.
