"Unbelievable waiting times at Boots Pharmacy"

About: Royal Derby Hospital / Nephrology

As a dialysis patient I have to visit the hospital regularly. last week I had to wait nearly 2 hours at the boots pharmacy for a prescription which caused me to miss a later appointment and increased my car park fee by 50%

As I have along with many other people suffered long waits I would suggest this Pharmacy is not "fit for purpose" and would urge the Hospital trust to instruct boots to abandon the requirement that all prescriptions to be handled by this Pharmacy. As I suspect there is Franchise agreement in place so it should be modified to allow patients to obtain there medications from other Boots branches.

Please, please do something about the appealing waiting times being inflicted by this Pharmacy
