"breast screening"

About: Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I had a breast screening locally and it had a smear on it so I attended to Thomas Linacre Centre for a second scan. The nurses were very good and I found the doctor very helpful. I was put at ease and everyone was very reassuring and friendly.

My daughter suggested that they could be biscuits made available in the waiting room with the tea as it is a long wait for relatives

Thank you for your positive comments regarding the breast screening service at the Thomas Linacre Centre. Your comments will be passed to the Manager for the service so that they can pass these on to the staff concerned. In particular, it is satisfying to learn that the doctor was helpful.

For your assistance, there are a number of vending machines within the Thomas Linacre Centre and also a WRVS cafe on the ground floor for the convenience of visitors to the Thomas Linacre Centre.
