What I liked

I was admitted to Billinge Ward and the team is fantastic.

This is a very well run ward. Its a clean, calm and airy. The staff are very professional and efficient, and they keep the atmosphere very relaxed and friendly for patients.

Everyone was just so kind and helpful

What could be improved

Perhaps main course meals are a little bland, but then you don't fancy an elaborate feast anyway! They are good at cakes, icecreams and puds.

Thank you very much for your positive comments regard Billinge ward and the team. It is good to hear that the ward is well run, clean, calm and that your experience was a good one. In particular, you felt relaxed and that the staff were professional and friendly.

I shall pass your comments to the Ward Manager and the Head of Nursing for Surgery so that they can pass these on to the staff concerned. I shall also pass your comments regarding the meals to the Manager for Catering Services and it is pleasing that you enjoyed the cakes, icreams and puds.

Thanks again for taking the time to post your story on the Patient Opinion website and I am sure that the Manager for Catering Services will take your comments about the main meals being a little bland into consideration when planning menus.
