Eating disorder Unit Cheadle,

I went willingly into the unit as a last resort for help, got wacked with a 72hour holding order within the first week for objecting to the lack of care, threat of sectioning never far away

Run like a boot camp, poor access to consultant, unwilling to listen, you have to "beg" for time off the unit each week. A miserable place with little to keep you occupied, or incentive to get well, some staff great, some staff awful, only admit yourself if you want to be controlled and manipulated.
