"I feel I have a mind of my own, when I am here"

About: Burns Day Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I enjoy attending Day Service because I feel I have a mind of my own, when I am here, and I can voice my opinions. Although family mean well, they can make decisions for me which sometimes I do not like.

Staff are alright and they look after you. Everything is alright when I attend and I have nothing negative to say. I also look forward to getting my hair done when I am here as I feel better when my hair is nice.

My family are happy I attend and they like to hear how my day was, and what I got up to.

I'm glad staff take the time to let you make your own decisions and that you enjoy getting your hair done - me too!
