I've been attending Steve, an Advanced Practice Podiatrist for the last few years on and off and he has been absolutely fantastic. He takes the time to listen and has done everything possible to try and help me, especially when the consultant dimissed me and refused to answer my questions. He is very knowledgeable and certainly knows his stuff. I can't thank him enough for all the help he has given me.

Thank you for your very kind comments in respect of Steve, one of our Podiatry ESPs, I will pass on these comments to him. The service at Hairmyres and our other two hospitals is a model that has been in place for some years now and ensures that the patient is seen by the correct health care professional at the right time and in many cases negates the need for surgical intervention if possible.
