About: Rivers Hospital

Had a cystoscopy and urethral dilation. Treated like a piece of meat. Unbelievably painful (& I’ve given birth)! The Consultant was uncommunicative, disrespectful and unsympathetic.

I have had other procedures at the Rivers and have never been dissatisfied. Maybe it was because the other times I was a private patient and this appointment was NHS. I hope not!

I wrote to the hospital and they have since apologised.
