My experiences with the 'Millgate Healthcare Partnership' are getting worse and worse. Initially I was sent for an appointment at another practice on a Saturday, which I thought was very helpful of them to get me in so quickly, even if it wasn't at my normal doctors. I was diagnosed with eczema of the hand. After a private doctors opinion, I was told this was a complete misdiagnosis and to book in for blood tests, which I did. The receptionist I spoke to over the phone didn't have a clue, sent me in for blood tests at the 'drop in' without asking if I'd had a referral from a doctor (which I hadn't, but didn't know this was a requirement) so the woman taking my bloods had no idea what to write on my blood sample. I then got results stating no further action was necessary - with no explanation what they were even testing for. A waste of everyone's time, and money. I have now had to make another appointment for blood tests, with a medical professional so as not to waste any more of anybodies time. I then ring up on a Thursday at 12:57 (opening times state open til 6pm) to be told they are closed. The general process at the practice is diabolical. Let's hope my actual blood tests don't come back anything too serious, after two wasted appointments, including one misdiagnosis.
