The information on Birley Health Centre or listed as (Dr CT Heatley & Partners) is

never kept up to date on the NHS Choices website.

Opening times are always wrong and the list of services to patients is never updated. If

this is pointed out to the staff on reception, it always seems to be met with criticism as

though the problem is the fault of the patient.

If staff were to keep their information more up to date, patients would not need to contact

the Health Centre by phone for none urgent information that they require.

Good Afternoon

Thank you for taking the time to provide the practice with feedback.

We review all practice information on a regular basis. I've had a look at the information available and the opening times are correct. I have updated the doctor list to reflect the addition of the new Doctor who has recently joined us. There is also a link to the practice website which provides further information.

I'm really interested to know how you feel we could improve this further. I agree if we could find other ways for patients to access information rather than telephoning the practice that would be helpful. The practice reception team took over 700 calls yesterday, which also means patients are on hold sometimes until the call is answered.

Do you know we have a Patient Participation Group (PPG) which enables patients like yourself to voice opinions and share ideas for improvement. Working together we find solutions and new members are always welcome.
