What I liked

I attended the hysteroscopy outpatients clinic where the consultant, his staff and the nurses all treated me with courtesy and consideration, taking care to preserve my dignity at all times. Eventually I was admitted for a minor operation and an overnight stay. Procedures and anaesthesia were explained carefully, and the theatre staff very reassuring. As I like privacy I opted to pay for an amenity bed on Ward 19 overnight. The room was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
