About: Spire Parkway Hospital

Travelled 3 hours one way to get to the hospital. After 30 mins of my appointment being late I asked about it at the reception desk. They said they would find out.

Within 5 mins I was called and taken into a room only to tell me the doctor I had selectively chosen as they specialised in the problems I have, was not in. Who knows how long I would have sat there before anyone would have told me if I didn't go to reception. They then offered me another appointment with another doctor and although I was reluctant as like I said I wanted that specific doctor, I agreed to then find out I'd have to wait another 2 and half hours for them to come in. I explained I can't wait that long as I live so far away and asked for a refund.

I cannot believe the lack of communication and the unprofessionalism. Not only am I feeling very ill and wanted this appoinment as tthw NhS can't get me in but I paid a lot of money, wasted 6 hours travel and missed a day of work.
