What I liked

I was on ITU at the Royal for many weeks. I liked the helpfulness and the friendliness of the staff. The nurses looking after me were all friendly, they all explained what they were doing and made sure I was involved in my care. The physiotherapists were fantastic. Even though my physiotherapist was only recently qualified she was friendly and made sure I got out of bed when I was ready. The staff all worked together to ensure I got back on my feet quickly and safely. I appreciated how the physiotherapists did their treatments when my wife was present to show her how much I was improving each day.
