What could be improved

Signeage of departments was very poor on my last visit after recent changes.

When entering the upper level of the multi storey carpark ,at the top of the ramp you have to turn sharp right but the cars view of pedestrians is blocked by the concrete sides and this causes unnecessary danger for them when they cross for the stairs or lifts.

the bottom of the exit ramp also means a very sharp right turn straight onto a zebra crossing this is also a danger point.

These points could probably be addressed with little cost

i visit twice weekly and am very happy with parking spaces and provision of free permit as i am a regular visitor.

When i first started attending in March i found the departments very easy to find using the number system,now the system has been changed back to names i got lost!!

The hospital is designated as a non smoking hospital but i have to walk through a cloud of smokers immediately out side the main entrance.

I understand that some people need to smoke ,but i can think of nothing worse than to walk though cigarette smoke as i enter a hospital,indeed staff have commented to me that the smell enters some of the wards when the wind blows in that direction!

As there is no effort to stop this practice by the hospital ,maybe it would be better to designate a separate smoking area away from the main entrance
