I've been to Guernsey House twice over a few years and twice on a methadone programme. I see one doctor as a rule, and I find them very fair and get on well with them.
My only problem with coming here is the bus fares. I'm on a low income, and looking after my three girls, one of whom is 7 and a half months pregnant and receiving no benefits at all.
It would help if it was easier to get bus fares back as not everyone has the right I.D. to show . I've had my bus fares back once in the time I've been coming, and can't always afford £4.30 that it costs.
The waiting room is fine, with stuff for children if you have to bring them. The people on reception are nice and friendly. But as a busy mum, I would prefer to come every 8 weeks as before, not every month.
I've been clean of drugs for nearly 10 months with one relapse, and as soon as I'm off my methadone I'll be clean for good.
"Good service, but bus fares expensive"
