"Badly managed practice and not respecting NHS..."

About: Temple Fortune Medical Group

We moved in the area last August and decided to change GP in February, so I searched for GP practices and contacted them to find out how to register, they straight away asked me to get my NHS number from my previous GP which quite unusual , it is obvious they do not want to spend 5 min in getting it them selves . I decided to register with this practice. I went to check my and other two family members registration status after over two months in giving registration forms and all supporting documents after 15-20 min in them searching I was told that we are still not registered as we did no book appointment with their nurse for a health check( bringing a urine sample and BP check) .

This was really appoling and un acceptable, they are breaching their NHS registration contract. They have the duty to register patients after filling their registration forms and checked their ID and prove of address, then it is the patient choice to book an appointment with the nurse or not. I decided that actually I am not interested in registering or my family any more, I went and registered in another practice which took me 10 min. I felt not respected at all, they asked me my name and date of birth loudly 3-4 times while the waiting room was full of patients. They didn’t care about confidentiality. Stay well away from this badly managed practice
