"Worst practice ever!"

About: Brunswick Park Medical Centre

The receptionist at this practice is absolutely rude and feels like she can decide who can have an appointment and who can see the doctor or nurse! She continuely tries to push you to go to memorial hospital instead of seeing a doctor at the practice. Same problem when requesting a blood test. This has occurred on numerous occasions and is terrible service considering how old I am. Also takes days of not weeks to get an appointment. The doctors really need to stop the receptionist making decisions for them and getting the receptionist to push you to go memorial.

Dear patient,

I am very sorry to hear that you have had difficulty making an appointment. We are currently in the process of recruiting more doctors with new GPs having started recently. We hope to be able to meet demand now.

We encourage patients to get their blood tests done at Finchley Memorial Hospital because we do not have enough nurses to carry out all the tests required and as the samples are then sent to the hospital for testing anyway we get the results back quicker. We can make exceptions if patients have mobility problems.

Our receptionists do not make any decisions about patient care and are always following clear protocols decided by the doctors.

If you feel any of our team have been rude please contact the surgery directly so we can investigate properly.

Thank you for your feedback, we hope you have been able to make an appointment and get the tests you need. If you are still having difficulties please contact the surgery directly.

Kind regards

Ed Poole

IT & Operations manager
