I was advised by the GP practice to go to ward 9 so after going home to get a bag ready etc
I went to the ward as Instructed by my GP.
I was greeted very professionally by a member of staff, who directed me to sit in the day lounge.
I was only waiting about 10 minutes for the dr to finish with a poorly patient.
I was then shown to a bed, I thought I'd be home after the examination but I was admitted to the ward there and then.
I was a little bit anxious because I needed to get my overnight items from the car however I was not allowed to get up from the bed............during the night one of the staff nurses went to my vehicle and brought in my bag unfortunately they couldn't find my mobile phone, which had all my phone numbers in. The staff nurse was very kind to do this as they were rushed off their feet. I didn't actually manage to sleep but I was over tired.
I'd like to thank All The staff both day and nights for their care and compassion towards me.
