(as a relative),

My father had severe stroke last October and was 3 months in hospital.  Now home in Hospital Bed unable to get into his bathroom and shower facilities since January or get downstairs. CARS team in Wishaw have been liaising with Bellshill SW and assessed him as needing both stairlift/wetroom. Now at a standstill waiting for Assessment from Bellshill Social Work to do same assessment?!, father's psychological state and chance for Rehabilitation being affected now, Please help our family?

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you've experienced whilst waiting for a home environmental assessment.

I'm sorry I'm unable to offer any direct assistance. I've managed to speak to a social work colleague this morning who has asked that you contact Margaret Stewart (Locality Social Work Manager) via the Management Support Team to provide some additional information so that she can review your father's case.
