"Relative admission in Herrick Ward Northwick park"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

(as a relative),

My relative was admitted to Herrick Ward, Northwick park hospital due to infection. It is one of the worse ward in the hospital I can tell you. The above review was given  some years ago and its is now 2018 and we still get the same answers from nurses " We are over stretched and very busy". They never answer the phones nor patient alarm bell. A ward looking after stroke patients and proving such a very very poor service. This is very dangerous and risky. I should be very worry and concerned if one of my love one is allocated into this ward. I don't recommend it at all.

I am very sorry to read this. I have spoken to Nicole, the matron for stroke and she would be pleased to speak to you. Please ask for her if you are on the ward, ring the ward or contact the PALS team on 0208 869 5118 or LNWH-tr.PALS@nhs.net with your contact details and she will ring you.

Best wishes

Sue
