"Fantastic staff in MADU"

About: Wexham Park Hospital / Accident and emergency Wexham Park Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

Was rushed in into A&E and treated fantastic (apart from one very rude unprofessional consultant) lets not go back to the old days of Wexham before Frimley!!

However treated fantastic by the rest of the staff then transferred to MADU ward 9 WOW Fantastic staff drs nurse HCAs got me better and made me feel better within days:-) Katie, Rebecca, Julie, Darly and Precious too name but a few. You are all fantastic. Thank you each and every one.

Well what can I say after my review and concern of no one contacting me about rude Consultant I sent an e mail, No reply? What a complete waste of time Care Opinion is !! NHS should take it back in house and I will not be using it again.

My name is Sarah and I am one of the team that run Care Opinion. I am sorry your comments have not received a reply yet. We did alert the NHS Trust to your comments when they were published. You can see this by clicking "who has Care Opinion told about this story?" to the right hand side of your comments.

The NHS does lots of things to hear patients experiences of care in house (you can see these on any Trust website), however we think it is also important to have an independent place for people to leave feedback anonymously. This is why we run Care Opinion as an independent social enterprise. We want people to have a safe space to feedback about services and we want services to be able to, and we actively encourage them to, reply to comments. We want services to show how they are using the comments to improve.

We also work with a number of universities, who use the comments on the site to train the next generation of health professionals. We think when comments are public, like on Care Opinion, lots of people can learn from a single experience

I do hope you consider using Care Opinion again and I am sorry you have not had a good experience with us. If you have any suggestions for how we could improve you can tell us online (in the same way you can give feedback about a hospital and it will be public) here.
