What I liked
Received an apology from the consultant for having had a very long wait. He was in fact much more curteous than the nursing staff/receptionists.
What could be improved
More comfortable seating including the provision of a coccyx cushion for anyone that should need one. There is no evident catering for those with seating issues owing to a back problem or coccyx problem.. Having had spend over 2 hours in total sitting, and 2 1/2 hours in total for the entire time for the outpatient appointment the provision of such a cushion would have helped. You would expect some provision along these lines in a hospital that envisages long waiting times. You would expect some provision along these line in a hospital period. I have coccyx pain and find sitting on those chairs for even half an hour very uncomfortable.
Feedback with regards to the clinic running behind time (massively) would not go astray ...unless that is the norm (clinics running behind 2 hours say) so feedback is witheld for whatever reason!!
A ridiculous wait .... 2 1/2 hours from start to end. Seats are very uncomfortable for such a long wait. Since they knew they were running behind time they should perhaps have asked those waiting to come back at specific times. .....giving them time to have refreshments and to stretch their legs so to speak.
"Sorry to have to say this but: Very..."
