(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It gets better as the months and days go by due to the staff that care, adapting in a caring fashion but you do get the odd one that upsets the apple cart.

could do with a dolly trolley - a lady to come round with a snack trolley for people who cant get off the ward. (for staff and patients)

St. Andrews is my worst nightmare but my best friend. depending on what illness a person is suffering from depends if I'd recommend it.

Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us and I am pleased to hear that you feel the staff are caring. In relation to your comment about those who "upset the apple cart" as I am sure you know, we do have a complaints procedure and if you have any issues I would encourage you to use this to enable us to address any issues.

I like your idea about the "dolly trolley" although we do encourage as many of our patients to get out to the café or shops themselves, maybe this is something that you could suggest at the patients forum?
