"A wonderful experience at Herncliffe Care Home in Keighley"

I visited Herncliffe in Keighley in March 2018. I work in NHS health research and the manager of Herncliffe, Mary, had very kindly agreed for the home to take part in our research study, which aims to improve GP services in care homes.

I have visited many homes as part of our research study. Herncliffe and its staff struck me as a particularly pleasant home to be in. The staff I saw treated everyone with care and respect. They are knowledgeable and responsive to residents' health and wellbeing needs. I spoke to several residents and relatives as part of the study, who all told me that they are delighted with Herncliffe. The home caters for a wide range of needs and is sympathetically designed to accommodate residents. The decoration and facilities are of a high standard, with several pleasant and airy lounges and well appointed private accommodation. There is ample car parking and pleasant views. Herncliffe even has a mini bus to take residents on day trips.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my visit to Herncliffe.
