"Shambolic waste of patient and..."

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

What could be improved

Employing a competent, qualified consultant would be a good starting point. This should then be followed up by making sure they take at least basic steps to provide a reasonable level of service i.e. reading the relevant medical notes rather than making wild assumptions.

It would also be helpful if the consultant has some basic training in actually listening to what the patient says.

Anything else?

The usual shambles one expects from the NHS. Medical care in Medway, Kent and the UK in general is ordinarily quite good in an emergency situation. Outside of emergencies it varies from diabolical to the abysmal.
