My overall experience of the Amwell group practice has been very good, they are all pushed on the hours they work but the doctors are excellent and my doctor was particularly thorough kind and compassionate and felt very lucky that she was my doctor. The waiting for appointments in the past has been 1 - 2 weeks, but last time I called, (early March 2018) it was 5 weeks, so the pressure on gp's really starting to show.

However I then asked if it was possible for a phone call with my doctor and was told it was and received a call later that day and got a cancellation the following morning, so really couldn't have asked for more with what they are up against.

I had 1 bad experience in 10 years and that was only with one member on reception not long after I came out of hospital after a very serious emergency surgery who just showed any lack of care/compassion and to be honest not a great attitude at all

Waiting times do vary although we work very hard to keep this under 14 days. We are also very pleased to hear that although there was a long wait to see your usual GP that we were able to offer you a much faster solution.
