"Rudham Ward"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

My little boy (1/2year old) was cared for on Rudham Ward, over the weekend, the staff were caring and compassionate. The staff explained what was happening and what was going to happen, I felt involved in decision-making and felt my child’s care was child-centred/focused. The staff were understanding and sincere and the consultants’ explained everything to me and made my little boy feel as at ease as possible.

Thank you for posting comments about your experience of care on Rudham ward. I can appreciate how worrying it is to have your young child in hospital so it is very reassuring to hear that you felt well supported and involved in decision-making and most of all, that the care of your son focused on his needs and helped put him at ease. I hope that he is now fully recovered. I will share your kind comments with all the staff on Rudham ward.
