Im so dissapointed in this hospital. Too many false hopes and promises will be taking this further with pals.

Thank you so much for your post about your care.

We are sorry you have had such a long wait for your induction.

It sounds like you are very frustrated and I do hope by the time you read this response, your baby will have been born.

Despite your wait, I'm pleased to know you found our midwives lovely.

If you haven't been made aware, please do know we have several specialist midwives who are able to particularly support with mental health issues that might be exacerbated during pregnancy and labour. We are working hard on making our induction of labour pathway more streamlined with the aim that when a woman's body is ready to labour, our capacity is able to support.

I'm so sorry this has not been the case for you--we will definitely take your feedback on board and ensure it continues to drive the work we are doing.

If you have any further feedback on how we can make this a better service, and would like to be involved or speak with us, we have a working group as part of our Family and Patient Advisory Council with an Induction of Labour work stream-

Should you have more to share or like to be involved, please contact our PALS team on 0121 333 9999 or email us on pals@bwnft.nhs.uk.

Thank you again, sent on behalf of Sarah Ayre, Midwifery Matron for Inpatient Wards
