What I liked

i was admitted to A + E with abdominal pain. From when i first arrived i treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Due to a trauma i had a wait in the department however the staff kept me informed of what was going on at all times. Once i had seen the doctor i was x-rayed and transferred to AAU. there i was again treated superbly and kept informed of when the surgical team might see me. My partner was also treated very well being offered a cup of tea often.

I was transfered to ward 12 where the decision was made that i was to go to surgery. I had nothing with me and was given soap, toothpaste and a toothbrush so i could have a proper wash. The ward was spotless and every member of the team were fantastic, yet again i was kept informed of what was happening. I went to theatre sunday evening. The theatre staff were lovely and made me feel totally at ease at all times.

I am so impressed with every aspect of my care, the staff were fantastic, the hospital was very clean and most importantly i felt very safe and cared for, i had every confidence in everyone who was involved with me.
