The care and compassion shown by the whole of the nhs team involved in palliative care of my dad throughout his illness to the end, we will be eternally grateful. Different members of different teams worked together to ensure my dad died comfortably, peacefully and pain free at home. Macmillan, Marie curie, District nurses, gp's palliative care doctors and registrars. We simply could not ask for more.
