"Dirtiest place ever"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

While waiting for a doctor asked twice to clean the toilets! People who works here chilling instead of helping people ! Waitig time is longer than on display (4-5hours) easier will be just die than wait here for an expert to see you. Asking for long its gonna be no one can answer you that ! I do not recommend this hospital to anyone who is injured. Better pay for a taxi and go to different city than waiting here. Doctors googling what to prescribe you. Seems like this is playground not a place to safe peoples life

Hi

There has been a recent review of the housekeeping rota and their shifts will be changing to accommodate the wider cross section of the working hours which will improve our department.

The department is fast changing and as much as we endeavour to keep the ‘wait time notice’ up to date, there will unfortunately times when this is not accurate.

It may appear that Doctors are ‘googling’ on their phones, however there is a BNF (British National Formulary) app which is current and may be what the doctor was looking at. This is exactly the same as the BNF book and I feel it is better for the doctor to clarify the prescription they are giving in the interests of patient safety.

The British National Formulary (BNF) is a UK pharmaceutical reference book that contains a wide spectrum of information and advice on prescribing and pharmacology, along with specific facts and details about many medicines available on the NHS.

We are sorry that on this occasion, our department did not meet your expectations.
