About: Castle Hill Hospital

What could be improved

I was in ward 2 for 3 months and it was appalling, never ever again do I hope to have to go through this, I had a brain heamorrahge in december and I was not allowed to do anything for myself, I had to complain about the odour in the room, and it seemed like a trial for the staff (only some of them) when I wanted to go to toilet and they were too busy gassing around reception. I hated asking for

help, but I needed it to go to toilet, when it's urgent it takes generally 10 minutes to answer call, and on some occasions it was as long as an hour, it's a good job it wasn't anything serious. I was told off (you're not doind it right), when I tried to help make my bed, considering this is supposedly a rehabilitation unit they don't let you do that much rehab. I got told off for too many people around the bed, there were 3 and it was my daughters first birthday, so they wanted to be there to see her on her special day.
