What I liked

Having had a history of miscarriage and unhelpful staff in another hospital, I was surprised how helpful and sympathetic staff were here. They arranged early scans, were very understanding of my fears and treated me as an intelligent responsible adult. It is still early days, but I am glad I am coming here for my care.

What could be improved

It took a long time to get a consultants appointment. I have however got one now (it took 6 weeks) and hope to have some clearer information.

Anything else?

The early pregnancy assessment unit was very clean, staff were helpful and friendly, my partner was allowed in to hold my hand at all stages. The midwife was lovely, and also very helfpful, making time to talk to me on the phone and in person. The maternity department was, as a whole very good.
