"Car Parking - A huge let down"

About: Radcliffe Medical Practice

My wife and I are patients at Rock Healthcare in Bury. More recently, the practice has expanded, increasing its clinical services to include Radcliffe Medical Centre as part of the appointment system. However, whilst the building accommodates more than one GP practice, plus various treatment rooms in the cause of maintaining varying medical conditions, the poor and totally inadequate car park facilities are a huge let down. A medical centre with this daily level of patient attendance, needs a purpose built car park. Unlike the Moorgate Primary Care building, the Radcliffe Medical Centre has an adjacent car park with around six "disabled" bays. The much larger car park has numerous spaces, but as it has no designation regarding its attachment to the centre, car owners, as well as the owners of those vehicles associated with building work to the rear, leaving their vehicles for the duration of the day, leaving patients to eventually abandon that area in search of parking in another part of town - whilst there had been wonderful planning regards this a wonderful facility there appears little thought behind those patients who visit by car.

Firstly thank you for taking the time to place a comment on NHS choices.

However you have placed the comment on Radcliffe Medical Practice's site.

We are a GP practice within the building and have nothing to do with either the building or the attached car parking facilities.

We are just tenants within the building.
