Absolutely fantastic service.   My baby was born in the birthing centre after 4 hour labour.   Staff were excellent and kept me at ease.   They picked up myself and baby had an infection so had to stay on post natal for a furher 36 hours.   Post natal staff again fantastic and really helpful.   Do not understand why Oldham maternity gets such bad press as they we'r all brilliant and a credit to the NHS.   Keep up the good work oldham!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our birthing centre and postnatal ward. Although it must have been a worrying time when you discovered you and your baby had an infection I am glad to hear that our maternity team on the postnatal ward were 'fantastic'. This is because we strive to maintain high standards and offer women care that is compassionate. I will share your story with them as I know that they will be pleased to hear it.
