I began trying to make an appointment in November and every time I rang (sometimes the line would get cut due to how long I was waiting to get through) to see if that had availability on my day off there was no availability, either in advance or same day, and had to book an appointment for mid January in early December in order to be seen. At my appointment I was told I would be put on a list to be called to arrange a further appointment in 4-6 weeks time. 2 weeks later I received a phone call to say I had been put on the list to be called. After 6 weeks were up I rang to ask when I might be having my next appointment arranged for (after having spent my entire 30 minute lunch break on the phone trying to get through) and they informed me of the date the particular clinic would be running, which unfortunately I would not be able to attend due to an important work commitment, and was then informed that this would be the last clinic of this nature running at the surgery. Had I been rung within the 6 week period which I was supposed to have been rung, I might have been able to sort this out myself at an alternative clinic in a much more efficient time frame. Extremely frustrating.
"incredibly frustrating"
