Following a mammogram which needed further investigation I was referred to the RVI breast care unit, the care I have been given from diagnosis of breast cancer to surgery has been unbelievable. All the staff I have encountered have been friendly and caring and I feel very lucky to have had the consultant that I had.
I had my operation and was home by teatime and three weeks down the line I feel well.
We are so lucky in Newcastle to have this team of people.
