At 89 my mother is very poorly and housebound with end stage emphysema. I discovered she hasn't been able to cut her own toenails for some time so the district nurse arranged referral for home visit.
Discovered there is no domicilliary service to silverdale and even if there had been the waiting time for a new patient is 3 months.
How can this be described as a service? What happened to patient oriented services, care for the elderly?
I am disgusted and then i saw this website. It seems i am not the only one, and like many others I will pay privately.
"No domicilliary podiatry service available"
