"Repeat Prescription"

About: Brunswick House Medical Group

Requested repeat prescription through patient access as I knew there was not enough time for prescription to be sent to pharmacy I put a note in the message box to say I would pick the prescription up as I needed my medication urgently. My daughter called in for my prescription only to be told they had sent it to pharmacy, when she asked why she was told because we always send it there. I contacted the pharmacy who sdvised the prescription had not arrived and were not due another delivery that day. I asked if the prescription was given to courier on Friday am when would they expect to receive it, they said same day. I need my medication to allow me a normal life if I miss one day I can't move as I am in so much pain. This is not the first time this had happened and I never get a clear reason why it happened. A few months ago the practice forgot to do my request and I only knew about the issue when I went to pick up my meds, I orderd a week in advance but the pharmacy only received the prescription 30 min before I called in to pick it up. Don't get me started on trying to see a GP its a joke you can never get through and the patient access portal never has any appointment available for the GP you want unless you know you are going to be ill in advance its s joke and I am looking at changing my practice.
