"Exceptional Care from the Breast unit"

I felt compelled to leave a review because of the exceptional care and treatment I have and continue to receive from the Edinburgh Breast Unit at the Western General Hospital. Having recently been an inpatient on Ward 6, I seriously cannot thank all members of staff enough - from my breast surgeon and plastic surgeon to the doctors, nurses and care assistants on the ward - the care I received was simply outstanding and overall the best experience I have ever had of a hospital stay. The wards are very small in bed numbers, spacious, airy and the facilities are spotlessly clean - just what you need to make you feel relaxed and secure without other people invading your space. Staff are highly respectful, considerate, polite and attentative. It's a ward where you actually feel cared for which is so important. Discharge information is clear and precise and always backed up with contact telephone numbers, etc. , which is very reassuring.
