"just disapointed"

What I liked

some of the nurses were polite and helpful one of the members of staff that did dinners through the week was very nice and polite and helpful. the anaesthetists was very nice and explained things to me the doctor was also helpfull and explained what was gunna happen.

What could be improved

all the staff need to understand that when some body is allergic to latex ,that they don't go in to the patients room with latex gloves and touch the patient . I had had a full hystorectomy with my overies and tubes taken away, i was opend up for the surgery, but was not happy that i was in 5 days and my room was cleaned once in that time, my floor had black marks on it were my drip had leaked because the nurse had forgot to turn it off when she had swapped it. she tried to wipe up most of the spill and said the cleaners would clean it, but they didn't the room was cleaned on the wednesday when i went in but was not cleaned at all while i was in.

Anything else?

i think i am lucky to not have caught anythin while i was in, and am very lucky to not of been too out of it to notice the staff comeing in my room with latex gloves on, even though there was latex allergy written on the door, and the latex gloves were replaced in my room and outside my door with latex free but they still came in with latex gloves on .
