"My Great Aunt's stay in Hull Royal Infirmary"

The Care Plan did not bare any resemblence to the actual episodes of care my Aunt received. The daily documentation was incomplete. I felt the basic nursing care was poor ie. personal hygeine/dental care/nutrition and toileting. The communication with myself was only at my instigation and it seemed most of the Registered Nurses knew very little about the progress with discharge planning. The doctor did not base prescribed analgesia on any background information from myself /her GP or her Residential Home Care Manager.

Overall an unsatisfactory experience on ward 70. My Aunt was not neglected however she received less than average care and lost weight due to apparent non-compliance with the Care Plan.
