"Are all doctors so unfriendly?"

As you may be aware, there is extreme demand on GP appointments, however a wait of 30 minutes is unusual and we would like to apologise that you were kept waiting so long - the doctor concerned would have been busy helping other patients in need during that time.

You say "I have yet to find a nice GP". The practice operates a personal list system so that for routine appointments you book with your own GP. If you would like to change your GP, you have the opportunity to do so. If you ring and need to be seen the same day, and need to see the doctor, you will be seen by the duty doctor, who usually won't be your own doctor and may well be under time pressure and running late. They will be happy to deal with the problem that was urgent for that day. In general, if you have long term medical problems you are better planning ahead and waiting a little time to see your own doctor, who will have a greater awareness of your overall situation.
