"Appalling service"

I have had the misfortune of having to attend the Bilsthorpe surgery a number of times recently using the walk in clinic. This service is absolutely abysmal. On the 5 times I have used this facility over the past 6 months not one time has the time given to return for the appointment been accurate. Previously this surgery ran an effective morning appointment service which worked. The current system is a failure of the highest order. Under the previous system an appointment could be obtained either the same or following day. Now under this new appalling regime you have to wait weeks before an appointment is available. The walk in system wastes so much of people's time. The NHS & GP services are there for the patients benefit not that of the GPs who think they know better.
