"4 WEEKS FOR APPOINTMENT"

About: Brinsworth Medical Centre

I called Whiston Surgery today 08/03/2018 was told the earliest appointment in either surgery is 4 weeks!

These surgeries are not fit for purpose and needs a serious review of working practices.

We are sorry you feel that 4 weeks is a long wait for a routine appointment. Along with many GP surgeries in the country we are experiencing a high demand for appointments and we have recently had a GP leave which has left us short of one GP. It is very difficult to recruit GP's but we are looking at all other available options and have recently employed a Physicians Assistant to help with demand.

We do have urgent appointments every day and we also have a telephone triage system of appointments
