What I liked

I was in the Day Case Unit for gallbladder surgery.

The staff were excellent and happy to answer questions about my care. I was talked through the procedure a number of times and spoke to all staff involved in my surgery beforehand.

All the staff were very reassuring and I felt well looked after.

After surgery I was very well cared for and nausea and pain were relieved immediately, with the staff constantly on hand should I need them, I felt very safe and cared for in the day unit.
