What I liked
All staff I came into contact with were efficient and very professional.
Despite arriving at 7:30AM for Achilles tendon repair there was very little time I was needlessly waiting but I guess I was probably lucky here.
Although I did not need to "buzz" staff for attention I could see that other patients that did were helped very quickly despite the ward being fairly busy.
In all a very good experience.
What could be improved
I had a slight problem with my name when being called for surgery. The nurse that came to collect me had a name tag (for me) with an incorrect surname but all efforts were made to ensure I was the correct patient by cross referencing patient IDs etc.
When arriving at Admissions my name was not on the list for surgery that day however the receptionist was able to sort this out after a few phone calls. May have occurred because I had only been booked for surgery 5 days before.
"Staff very friendly, efficient and..."
