What I liked
Having suffered with recurrent miscarriage in recent years, the Silver Star unit was an invaluable support to my husband and I from the outset of my fifth pregnancy. All the staff we encountered, from the Monday morning early pregnancy clinic, the Tuesday Clinic and the doctors, midwives and assistants on Level 6, as well as the midwives, anaesthetist and surgeons in the delivery suite were extremely supportive, good humoured, professional and patient. Although my pregnancy was a stressful experience – for natural historical reasons - our experience at the John Radcliffe Hospital was a positive one, which we can’t thank the all the staff enough for. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had access to such a professional and expert service; we genuinely felt we were in the best care.
